What To Watch On Disney+ This Weekend | WandaVision
It’s the weekend and if you’re looking for some ideas of what to watch on Disney+, here are a few suggestions including some a selection of movies and shows, including new Disney+ Originals.
WandaVision
Disney is kicking off this brand new Marvel series with 2 episodes of “WandaVision” landing this week. It’s been nearly 18 months since the last instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (since Agents of Shield kinda went off on its own timeline). Many Marvel fans have been chomping at the bit to watch something new and let’s just say these two episodes aren’t probably what most people were expecting to begin phase four, since they are recreating a classic sitcom from the 1950s. Give it a go, but keep an eye out for some Easter eggs and hints at what’s to come.
Mary Poppins Returns
This movie recently left Netflix and headed to Disney+ in the US and Canada. This sequel to the classic 1960s film sees Mary Poppins return to the Banks children and helps the family evade grave dangers by taking them all on various magical adventures that recreates the classic style of movies from that era. With some lovely musical moments, this one is bound to put a smile on your face, regardless of your age, can you imagine that?
Disney Insider
After a long break, a new episode of Disney Insider has arrived and gives us an insight into the making of two Disney+ Original shows, “Earth To Ned” and “Magic Of Disney’s Animal Kingdom”, along with a look at the new Star Wars High Republic program which is a new range of books and comic books set in a different era of the Star Wars timeline. If you like a behind the scenes look at Disney, give this one a whirl.
Secret Society Of Second Born Royals
This week it was revealed that Peyton Elizabeth Lee will be playing the lead role in the remake of Doogie Howser MD, which reminded me of last years Disney+ original movie “Secret Society Of Second Born Royals”. This fun super hero meets Disney Channel Original Movie sees Sam, a rebellious princess second in line to the throne, has no interest in an aristocratic life but changes her mind when she learns that she has superpowers and must protect the world.
