It’s that time of the year to sit down on the coach, cuddle up under a blanket and catch up on some great Christmas movies and Disney+ has tons of holiday themed movies for you this year.

Here is the “What’s On Disney Plus” Top 10 Christmas Movies list for 2019:

10) Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups

I know this might not be the greatest movie ever made, but its Christmas and its got lots of puppies in it.  They look adorable and they are cute, plus I want to get a puppy for Christmas.

9) The Muppets Christmas Carol

The Muppet’s rendition of Charles Dickens’ classic tale puts a unique twist on a favorite holiday story.  With all the fantastic Muppet characters involved and one of the most popular Christmas stories of all time, this list wouldn’t have been right without some Muppets included.

8) Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas

This animated classic features Mickey, Minnie and their famous friends for hilarious and heartwarming stories of their most memorable Christmases together. You get to experience a merry collection of adventures and magical Christmas songs celebrating the true joys of the holiday season.

7) Iron Man 3

I know some of you might be thinking, Iron Man 3 isn’t very Christmasy, but the events of the movie take place on Christmas Eve and I personally like adding something a little less fluffy to my festive viewing to mix things up.  The story sees Tony Stark’s world torn apart by a formidable terrorist called the Mandarin, he starts an odyssey of rebuilding and retribution.

6) Miracle On 34th Street

This classic 20th Century Fox movie from the 1940’s is a perfect old fashioned Christmas movie, which has remade on several occasions.    Kris Kringle, seemingly the embodiment of Santa Claus, is asked to portray the jolly old fellow at Macy’s following his performance in the Thanksgiving Day parade. His portrayal is so complete that many begin to question if he truly is Santa Claus, while others question his sanity.

5) Beauty and the Beast: Enchanted Christmas

One of the great things about Disney+ is the huge back catalog of movies, that you might not instantly think of.  This was originally released straight to video in the 90’s, so you might not have seen it.  Belle prepares the castle for Christmas against Beast’s wishes, trying to bring him happiness for the season…

4) Home Alone

One of my all time favorite Christmas movies, this classic 20th Century Fox movie has everything I’d want from a Christmas film.  It has mischief and mayhem as a eight-year-old Kevin McCallister makes the most of the situation after his family unwittingly leaves him behind when they go on Christmas vacation. But when a pair of bungling burglars set their sights on Kevin’s house, the plucky kid stands ready to defend his territory. By planting booby traps galore, adorably mischievous Kevin stands his ground as his frantic mother attempts to race home before Christmas Day.  And you can also throw Home Alone 2 in as a bonus film, since that one is great too.

3) Nightmare Before Christmas

Tired of scaring humans every October 31 with the same old bag of tricks, Jack Skellington, the spindly king of Halloween Town, kidnaps Santa Claus and plans to deliver shrunken heads and other ghoulish gifts to children on Christmas morning. But as Christmas approaches, Jack’s rag-doll girlfriend, Sally, tries to foil his misguided plans. Perfect holiday viewing if you skipped it at Halloween or just want a second excuse to watch this excellent Tim Burton movie.

2) The Santa Clause

One of my all time favorite Christmas movies sees Tim Allen play Scott Calvin who is just a ordinary man, who accidentally causes Santa Claus to fall from his roof on Christmas Eve and is knocked unconscious. When he and his young son finish Santa’s trip and deliveries, they go to the North Pole, where Scott learns he must become the new Santa and convince those he loves that he is indeed, Father Christmas.  There are 2 other sequels to check out on Disney+ if you enjoy this one.

1) Noelle

With this being a Disney+ Original and the only place to see this, it is only right that it sits at the top of the list.  Kris Kringle’s daughter is full of Christmas spirit and holiday fun, but wishes she could do something “important” like her beloved brother Nick, who will take over for their father this Christmas. When Nick is about to crumble like a gingerbread cookie from all the pressure, Noelle suggests he take a break and get away…but when he doesn’t return, Noelle must find her brother and bring him back in time to save Christmas.
