The Disney+ catalog is quite extensive as is. It has something for pretty much everyone’s taste. However, there are a few titles that I wished were available on the streaming service that I will discuss below and hopefully provide a few recommendations that you can watch to help ease that “missing” feeling.

The first title that I wished was on Disney+ is the 1990s version of The Mickey Mouse Club. This version of the show originally aired from 1989 through 1995. If you grew up during that time, you saw young versions of now-popular celebrities like Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, and Britney Spears. While we are crossing our fingers for these stars to come to Disney+ in some way in the near future in other projects, if you need a Mickey Mouse Club fix, episodes from the original version of the show from the 1950s are available to watch right now on Disney+. The shows largely follow the same format in both the 1950s and 1990s and provide a fun, old-school alternative.

The second title that I hopes comes to Disney+ soon are the 1990s concert series that featured popular boy bands *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys. Much like the Mickey Mouse Club, these bring back such a nostalgic feeling and were quite entertaining when they appeared on the Disney Channel, not only showcasing the music but also some behind-the-scenes footage. To still get your music fix, there are a lot of titles to choose from that are a little more current in terms of featured artists. You can watch the music specials for Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and many more. There are even some titles for Beatles fans in the three-part Get Back documentary.

Another series I wished was on Disney+ is the Disney-Sing-Along Songs series. This series was also popular in the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s and would feature popular Disney songs from various Disney properties. These showcased songs from the movies and some from popular park attractions. There is even a holiday video in the series that had both traditional holiday classics and some originals If you are missing these titles, there are new sing-along versions of Encanto and Frozen that might be of interest.

A final item I wished was currently available on Disney+ in the United States is all of the Spider-Man titles. This wishlist title is a bit more complicated due to the involvement of Sony Pictures and the overall licensing of Spider-Man. Hopefully, in the near future, all Marvel titles can be found in the same location; however, until then, if you need to watch your favorite web-slinging hero, you can check out Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame to see Spider-Man with all of the other Avengers. If you are looking for another option, you can watch some cartoon versions with Spidey and His Amazing Friends or the Spider-Man cartoon series – both of which can be found currently on Disney+.

Let us know if there are other series or specials you wish were on Disney+. Fingers crossed they will all come to the streaming service soon.
