Marvel Studios In Rumored Early Development Of “The Illuminati” Project
According to the latest rumour from “The Illuminedi” is that Marvel Studios is in early development on a project based on the “The Illuminati” comic book series. With Marvel Studios Kevin Feige listed as a producer on the project.
Since it’s still in the early stages of development, it’s unclear if this new project will be a movie for theatres or if it will be a Disney+ Orignal series.
In the comic books, “The Illuminati”, the team of well-known superheroes work behind-the-scenes to protect the world and protect an Infinity Stone. The team consists of characters such as:
- Iron Man
- Mr Fantastic
- Namor
- Black Bolt
- Professor Xavier
- Doctor Strange
There have also been other members of the team including Captain America, Black Panther, Hulk, Medusa, Beast and Hank Pym.
As with all previous major comic book events that have been made into Marvel movies, things are likely to be different from the comic books, so the line-up could be different.
Marvel still has to introduce the X-Men and Fantastic Four into the MCU, so this new project will likely be years away, since they will want to take their time in developing these characters first.
Again, details are very light at the moment and things could change easily, but what do you think of the idea of bringing the “Illuminati” to the screen?
