The next Marvel Studios series to arrive on Disney+ later this year is “Secret Invasion”, which is a new crossover event series is based on the comic book series of the same name and showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.

The cast includes Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos—characters who first met in “Captain Marvel.”   Along with Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, plus Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.  The series will be written and executive produced by Kyle Bradstreet , who has previously worked on “Mr Robot”.   The six-episode series is going to be directed by Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim.  The events of “Secret Invasion” will also help set up the upcoming Marvel film, “Armor Wars”, as Don Cheadle will be returning for “Secret Invasion” as Colonel James Rhodes, aka War Machine.

According to FilmMusicReporter, the new Disney+ series is going to feature a score by Kris Bowers, who has previously worked on “Bridgerton”, “Green Book”, “Mrs America” and the upcoming Searchlight Pictures film, “Chevalier“.   Kris shared a post on his Instagram Stories confirming the news.
