Marvel’s Kevin Feige Teases “Spider-Man 4”
Following the massive success of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” in 2021, Sony has been focused on many other Spider-Verse projects, including the animated film, “Across The Spider-Verse”, live-action series including “Silk” and “Noir Spider-Man, plus films including “Kraven The Hunter” and “Madame Web”.
But we’ve not heard much about future instalments in the franchise with Tom Holland, but recently, during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige teased an update on a fourth film.
All I will say is that we have the story. We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now.
No other details on the fourth “Spider-Man” film have yet been revealed, but with the current phase being known as “The Multiverse Saga”, it’s possible the next film could lead into the upcoming “Avengers: Secret Wars” movie, which is due to be released in cinemas on May 1st, 2026. There had been rumours that Sony was looking to release a “Spider-Man” film in 2024, but with the project still in the writing stages, it would be unlikely, due to the time it takes to make a film and, more importantly, doing the post-production special effects.
There had also been some reports that the next film will be much more grounded, with other street-level heroes (possibly Daredevil), rather than having a major cosmic or multiverse threat, taking “Spider-Man” back to his roots, as the last few films have seen him dealing with much larger issues than in the traditional comic book stories.
Hopefully, we will find out more about the upcoming “Spider-Man” in the future.
