We may not have had an Incredible Hulk film since 2008, but he has appeared throughout many titles in Marvel Cinematic Universe. Despite the fact Disney doesn’t own the rights to make a Hulk movie, it does own the rights to put the character in other properties. He’s appeared enough times to get his own collection on Disney+. I’m going to rank the best Hulk appearances in the Hulk collection.

The story of what the hammer-wielding Nordic god Thor was up to while the rest of the Avengers were battling each other in “Captain America: Civil War”. He moves into a flat with office worker Darryl Jacobson in Australia. The One-Shots are a lot of fun, but few feature Hulk. And this one only features Bruce Banner, not Hulk.

Agents Coulson and Sitwell plan to derail General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross from interfering with S.H.I.E.L.D. affairs with a very special person. This One-Shot doesn’t even feature Hulk, it just references him as Gen. Ross is pursuing him. It’s still one of the best one shots.

Jennifer Walters navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered Hulk. This series is good, and Smart Hulk has a major role in one episode and a cameo in a second, so far. He’s just had better performances. Plus, it’s high time other Hulks got the spotlight.

6. WHAT IF…?

Exploring pivotal moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turning them on their head, leading the audience into uncharted territory. The first animated Disney+ Original from Marvel is a lot of fun and features at least one appearance from the Hulk.

When Tony Stark and Bruce Banner try to jump-start a dormant peacekeeping program called Ultron, things go horribly wrong and it’s up to Earth’s mightiest heroes to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plan. It’s the weakest of the “Avengers” films, but it’s still pretty good.

Earth’s mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity. Banner enters trying not to turn into a Hulk, but turns into one voluntarily when the team needs it most. It’s an excellent team up movie and a great way to transition from Edward Norton to Mark Ruffalo in the role.

Imprisoned on the planet Sakaar, Thor must race against time to return to Asgard and stop Ragnarök, the destruction of his world, at the hands of the powerful and ruthless villain Hela. It’s essentially the Planet Hulk storyline, and it’s the best “Incredible Hulk” film we’re ever going to get, even if it is a Thor film.

After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to reverse Thanos’ actions and restore balance to the universe. Bruce Banner and the Hulk have finally truly become one and it helps the Avengers perform a time heist to bring back the half of the population Thanos turned to dust.

The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. It’s the best of the Avengers movies. It’s arguably the best of the Inifnity saga. And it’s hysterical seeing Bruce unable to bring the Hulk back.

That’s my ranking for the films, shorts and series featuring the Hulk. Which is your favorite?
