This past week has seen many areas of Los Angeles and Southern California ravaged by deadly wildfires and as they continue to rage across the region, ABC News has released a new one-hour special, “American Catastrophe: LA Burning – A Special Edition of 20/20,” which has been anchored by “World News Tonight”’s David Muir.

Muir will be the only journalist to fly with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection to survey the destruction and will be joined by correspondents and reporters from across the frontlines, covering the latest developments as these powerful fires continue to ravage the city.

Chief national correspondent Matt Gutman, correspondent and ABC News Live anchor Kayna Whitworth, correspondents Mola Lenghi and Matt Rivers, and KABC meteorologist Leslie Lopez will report up-to-the-minute updates on the ground and interview people impacted most by the devastating fires that have changed both lives and a city in an instant.

“American Catastrophe: LA Burning – A Special Edition of 20/20” is produced by “20/20” in association with ABC News Studios. Muriel Pearson serves as executive producer, and David Sloan is senior executive producer of ABC News Studios. Janice Johnston is the executive producer of “20/20.”

The special has already aired on ABC and is now available to stream on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.   It is also being streamed on the ABC News Live channel on Disney+.  Previous recent episodes of “20/20” are available to stream on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
