“Pompeii: Out Of Time With Tom Hiddleston” Trailer Released

Disney has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming original series, ” Pompeii: Out Of Time With Tom Hiddleston”, which is coming soon to Disney+ and Hulu.

After the success of National Geographic teaming up with members of the “Avengers”, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Hemsworth and Anthony Mackie, they are now teaming up with Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to tell the story of Pompeii as you’ve never seen before.

Over 1000 years after the famed eruption of Mt. Vesuvius buried the city of Pompeii under ash, Tom digs into the past to find remarkable stories of survival, tracing minute by minute, hour by hour, the decisions made in the chaos and pressure of one of the world’s most infamous natural disasters. Be prepared to never think of Pompeii in the same way again.

Roger’s Take: Disney has had plenty of success pairing up its documentaries with well-known celebrities, and this latest partnership looks a little different to previous ones, as it takes a look at one of the biggest moments in human history and retells it in a refreshing new way.  I’ve been lucky enough to visit Pompeii a few years ago, so I’m really interested in learning more about this fascinating event.
