With the start of a brand new month, this results in some titles in the United States being removed from Disney+ due to contracts made before Disney purchased 20th Century Fox. And unfortunately, the Marvle film, “X2: X-Men United” has been removed from Disney+ in the United States and is now available to stream on Starz.

The film is a follow up to the first X-Men film and tells the story of what happens after a shocking attack on the President of the United States, the X-Men must stand united with their deadliest enemies to combat a menace that threatens every mutant on the planet — and possibly all of mankind. Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry lead an all-star cast in this dazzling, action-packed sequel!

It’s unknown how “X2: X-Men United” will be available on Starz, but it will return once it has completed its contract. This isn’t uncommon for films to be removed from Disney+, and this has been happening since it launched in 2019.

Unlike other streaming services, Disney+ does not inform subscribers in advance if a title is going to be removed.

The good news is that some of the other “X-Men” films are is still available on the platform in the US, but due to the old contract with other streamers like HBO, Hulu and Starz, they are often rotating in and out of the platform. Internationally, all of the “X-Men” films are still available to stream on Disney+.
