Disney had lots of plans for its “Star Wars Story” movies after the massive success of “Rogue One”, but unfortunately, “Solo”, didn’t perform as well at the box office as they had hoped.  Resulting in plans for future “Star Wars Story” movies being changed, such as turning the rumoured Obi-Wan Kenobi movie into an upcoming Disney+ series.

This resulted in any plans for a sequel to “Solo: A Star Wars Story” being stopped. However, there have been many rumours of this project being resurrected as a Disney+ series.

While promoting his new Peacock series, “Brave New World”, Han Solo actor. Alden Ehrenreich spoke with Empire, and when asked if he’d ever reprise his role of Han Solo, Ehrenreich said:

“It depends on what it is. It depends on how it’s done. It depends if it feels innate to the story.”

When asked about returning to the role such as a possible Solo sequel or even a Disney+ series, he said:

“No, I don’t know anything about that. I mean, you know, I think our movie was kind of the last of the conventional-era Star Wars movie release time, I’ve heard soooome stuff, but nothing concrete.”

Unfortunately due to the situation with Solo, he took a couple of years off and hadn’t been keeping up with the world of Star Wars, as he admitted he hasn’t seen “The Rise Of Skywalker” and didn’t know the name of “The Mandalorian” Disney+ series.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is now available on Disney+.
