One of the many projects by Marvel Studios currently in production for Disney+ is “X-Men ’97”, which is a follow-up to the classic animated series from the 1990s, and the new show will explore new stories in the iconic 90s timeline of the original series featuring beloved characters like Professor X, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Jubilee, Rogue, Storm, Gambit, Magneto, and more, including fan-favourite Nightcrawler!

Disney has released a new video which sees Marvel’s Ryan Penagos talking with the creative minds behind the new Disney+ animated series, Beau DeMayo, Julia and Eric Lewald, and Larry Houston about the upcoming show and the legacy of the original X-Men: The Animated Series show from the 1990s.

With the San Diego Comic-Con taking place this weekend, hopefully, we get an update on the new show soon. Plus, plenty of new merchandise is being revealed for the show, indicating that possibly, that the show isn’t too far from arriving on Disney+.
