With the start of a new month, means, unfortunately, that some titles have been removed from Disney+ in the United States.

These titles have been removed due to pre-existing contracts made before Disney+ was launched.

The following films have been removed from Disney+ in the United States:

Strange Magic

After meeting Marianne, a fairy princess who is nursing a broken heart, Bog King’s views on love change as he realises that true love does not need a potion to blossom.

Never Been Kissed

Josie, an editor, must go undercover at a high school to prepare a report on the lives of the students. However, she finds it difficult to fit in and school life brings back some unpleasant memories.

Both of these titles have already been removed from Disney+ before, only returning in September.  “Never Been Kissed” is available on Starz now, while “Strange Magic” will be heading to Starz later this month.   These titles will then return to Disney+, once that contract has expired.

Unlike other streaming services, like Netflix or Hulu, Disney doesn’t announce in advance when titles are leaving Disney+.  These titles are still available in other countries.

What do you think of Disney removing these titles?
