We learn more about superhero powers during the time of partition as India and Pakistan is divided, Mickey and Friends give us a look at how wonderful summer can be and sharks everywhere on Disney+.

MS. MARVEL

After being transported back to the time of partition, we learn about Kamala Khan’s great grandmother and what led up to the decision for her to “abandon” her family. It’s one of the most intriguing episodes, so far, and gives us a look at Kamala’s family history.

THE WONDERFUL SUMMER OF MICKEY MOUSE

Mickey Mouse and his friends look back on the summer and shows us the antics they managed to get up to before the annual fireworks celebration. It’s the third of the four seasonal episodes of the second season of “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse,” and it’s one of the most fun of these shorts.

MARVEL STUDIOS ASSEMBLED: THE MAKING OF DR. STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS

The latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe gets a behind-the-scenes look in the latest documentary from the “Marvel Studios Assembled” series. Hear from the cast and crew, especially director Sam Raimi, as they discuss what it took to make this film and how they hope it helps the MCU continue to grow. The documentary shows viewers how it builds worlds and universes. This was supposed to be added to the service last week, but got pushed back.

SHARKS COLLECTION

On Sunday, Disney+ is adding several new shark documentaries to Disney+. It’s part of the annual sharkfest that brings out some of the best documentaries from National Geographic. They will be looking at several different species of sharks, so take a chance on whichever tickles your fancy. Plus, there are more than two dozen other documentaries already on the service for you to check out.

THOR

And, with “Thor: Love and Thunder” hitting theaters this weekend, if you’re in the mood for some library content. Check out the first “Thor” film. See the God of Thunder as he learns responsibility and how to harness his powers before joining the Avengers. There’s an entire “Thor” collection on Disney+, so you can check out anything on the service that features the Son of Odin.
