During Disney’s Investor Day event on Thursday, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed some of the Marvel content coming to Disney+.

Three new live action series were officially announced:

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
Anthony Mackie will return as Falcon and Sebastian Stan will reprise his role as Winter Soldier in the new Marvel Studios series.
Timing: Year One

Loki
Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role as Loki in the new Marvel Studios series.
Timing: Year Two

WandaVision
Elizabeth Olsen will return as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany will reprise his role as The Vision in the new Marvel Studios series.
Timing: Year Two

Two other shows were also announced:

Marvel’s Hero Project
The series, produced by Marvel New Media in partnership with MaggieVision Productions, reveals the remarkable, positive change several young heroes are making in their own communities. These young heroes have dedicated their lives to selfless acts of bravery and kindness, and now, Marvel celebrates them as the true Super Heroes they are.
Timing: Available at launch

Marvel’s 616
An anthological documentary series from Marvel New Media in partnership with Supper Club that explores the intersection between Marvel’s rich legacy of stories, characters, and creators, and the world outside your window. Each documentary will dive into the rich historical, cultural, and societal context that has become inseparable from stories of the Marvel Universe.
Timing: Year One

And there is also a new animated series called “Marvel’s What If…?,”, which will be the first animated series from Marvel Studios and takes inspiration from the comic books of the same name. Each episode will explore a pivotal moment from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turn it on its head, leading the audience into uncharted territory.

This years new movies including Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel will also be on Disney+, with Captain Marvel being available at launch on November 12th.

There will also be many movies from Marvel Studios available at launch including:

  • Thor: A Dark World
  • Iron Man
  • Iron Man 3

Other titles were shown on a slide presentation, but some of newer titles like Ant-Man & The Wasp and Infinity War will need to wait until their licenses with Netflix have expired.

  • Guardians of the Galaxy
  • Thor: Ragnarok

It was also announced that the animated series Guardians of the Galaxy and Ultimate Spider-Man will be available on day one of Disney+ launching.
