Disney has announced a date change for the Disney+ release of the new Disney Channel Original Movie, Upside-Down Magic, in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Originally it has been announced that it would be added on Friday October 2nd, but it has now been delayed a week to Friday October 9th.

No official reason for the delay was announced, however with Disney adding hundreds of episodes of Disney Channel shows and Zombies 2 on Thursday, as the Disney Channel closed, it looks like they are just spreading out the releases.

In this enchanting fantasy movie based on the New York Times bestselling children’s book, Nory and her best friend Reina enter the Sage Academy for Magical Studies, where Nory’s unconventional powers land her in a class for those with wonky, or “upside-down,” magic. Undaunted, Nory sets out to prove that that upside-down magic can be just as powerful as right-side-up.

Upside-Down Magic is already available in Australia and New Zealand, however with the Disney Channels still operating in the United States and Canada, it might be a few more months before its added there.
