Umbrella Academy Developer Becomes Moonknight Head Writer
Back at the D23 Expo in August, Marvel Studios President Kevin Fiege announced a new Disney+ exclusive series based on Moonknight. Now some more details have begun to emerge as the Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Jeremy Slater will be the head writer for the Disney+ series.
Jeremy Slater helped produce and write Netflix’s comic book adaptation Umbrella Academy series. He also worked as a writer on the 20th Century Fox film, Fantastic Four, from 2015. Though he reported after the movie was released that his script was very different from the finished product, since the tone wasn’t as dark and it included more action.
He also confirmed the role on Twitter saying:
So stick around and stay tuned. Moon Knight is on the way, and it’s going to be one hell of a ride.
