Marvel has announced that production has now officially started on the upcoming Disney+ series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Marvel Studios stars Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie, who play Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier and Sam Wilson/Falcon, respectively, took to the Marvel Studios Instagram account to share the exciting news.

The new Marvel series will also see Emily VanCamp reprise her role as Sharon Carter and she will be joined be newcomer Wyatt Russell, who will be playing John Walker, also known as U.S. Agent.

Marvel Studios’ ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ will launch on Disney+ in 2020.
