Taken 1 & 2 Coming Soon To Disney+ (UK/Ireland)
Recently Disney has announced that the 20th Century Studios films “Taken” and “Taken 2” will be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Friday 26th March as part of the new general entertainment brand “Star”.
Both movies star Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills, who is a former CIA operative that will do anything to keep his family safe.
Taken
While vacationing with a friend in Paris, an American girl is kidnapped by a gang of human traffickers intent on selling her into forced prostitution. Working against the clock, her ex-spy father must pull out all the stops to save her. But with his best years possibly behind him, the job may be more than he can handle.
Taken 2
Two years ago, retired CIA agent Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) used his “particular set of skills” to rescue his daughter, Kim (Maggie Grace), from kidnappers. Since then, Kim has been learning self-defense from her father, and Bryan has been on a personal mission to reunite with his ex-wife (Famke Janssen). In Istanbul, Bryan and his family cross paths with Murad (Rade Serbedzija), whose son died at Bryan’s hand during Kim’s rescue. Murad wants revenge, and he’ll stop at nothing to get it.
“Taken 2” is already available on Disney+ in some countries including Canada and Australia.
