College Football To Stream On Disney+ This Fall
With the new College Football season set to kick off soon, Disney has announced details on this year’s coverage, including content that will stream live on Disney+ in the United States on Saturdays.
Each week throughout the season, Disney+ subscribers in the U.S. can stream two ESPN/ABC college football games in addition to the Emmy Award-winning College GameDay Built by the Home Depot pregame show, which debuted on Disney+ last season.
The first game available to Disney+ subscribers, as part of their existing subscription, will be the Aer Lingus College Football Classic matchup in Dublin, Ireland, between North Carolina and TCU on Saturday, 29th August 2026 (noon ET). Additional matchups have been announced for Sept. 5th, 12th and 19th, while remaining games this season will be determined on a weekly basis.
College GameDay will return to Disney+ beginning with its season-opening show – and 500th show on the road all-time – in Week 1 on Saturday, 5th September 2026 from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before the highly anticipated Clemson at LSU game. The three-hour college football pregame show airs Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. – noon ET and will lead into the games, creating a weekly opportunity for fans to watch college football on Disney+ all season, in addition to existing offerings on the ESPN networks and ESPN App.
Beginning with College Football Saturdays this fall, Disney+ will continue to deliver a more robust offering of industry-leading sports content to subscribers with additional games, studio programming and original content across a variety of sports to follow in the months ahead.

Roger’s Take: Disney is continuing to build out the amount of live sports coverage it has available within a Disney+ subscription. This offering will no doubt help increase viewership for the games on Saturday, but is likely just a “taster” in the hope that fans upgrade to the full ESPN Unlimited plan. It’s also good to keep people informed that Disney+ has live sports available.
