Last year, Hulu released a new French original series called “Spellbound”, which was quickly renewed for a second season, which will be coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on September 17th, 2024.

“Spellbound” follows the captivating adventures of American teenager Cece Parker Jones who relocates to France to study dance at the Paris Opera Ballet School, only to discover she is also a ‘Wizen’, a witch with untapped potential, and has to navigate the challenges of her new life – balancing friendship, romance, dance, as well as her newfound powers.

In Season Two, Cece starts her second year with a vow to leave behind all magic so she can focus solely on dance. But as her Mystic side has been unlocked, secrets of the past are revealed, and she ends up on an adventure of self-discovery. And when she befriends a new student who is actually a Mystic, it’s magical mayhem all the way! With ballet at its core, this season sees her pushing the boundaries more than ever before to fulfil her dream of becoming an etoile. Cece also has a new crush, new friends, and a surprise from a familiar face, when a BLOK hip-hop challenge ignites and bonds the second division.

The series stars Hailey Melody Romain as Cece Parker-Jones, Margherita Barbieri as Simone Souter, Abigail O’Regan as Mia Banks, Sam Darius as Jack Ryder, Zac Gabriel Werb as Finn Cassidy, Etienne Moana as Benoît Ducasse, Imogen Mackie Walker as Amy, Gomolémo Tsagaé as Lola, Cameron James King as Adrian, Rik Young as Armando Castillo, Raven Dauda as Ginger Jones, Malou Beauvoir as Lizzie Jones, Charles Baker as Kevin.

“Spellbound” is created by Jill Girling and Lori Mather. The series is produced by Zoe Carrera-Allaix, Cecile Laurenson and David Michel, with Renaud Mathieu as executive producer. “Spellbound” is a production by Cottonwood Media.

The first season of “Spellbound” is available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
