“Short Circuit” Release Date Announced
Disney has announced that its new “Short Circuit” series will be coming to Disney+ on Friday 24th January 2020. Episodes 1 through to 14 will all be dropping on the same day.
Short Circuit is an experimental program where anyone at Walt Disney Animation Studios can pitch an idea and potentially be selected to create an original innovative short film with the support of the Studio and their fellow artists. The goal of the program is to take risks, surface new and diverse storytelling voices at the Studio and experiment with new technical innovation in the filmmaking process.
An adventurous young boy discovers that puddles can be portals to a fantastical world, but struggles to get his sister’s attention away from her phone to see the magic in the world around her.
Life is hard enough for an exchange student at a new school, butas the only earthling at a school for aliens, the central character in this fanciful story is the ultimate outsider and must prove her worthto be accepted by her unusual new classmates.
