With the actor’s strike now over, filming has resumed on the upcoming third Marvel “Deadpool” movie in England, with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman back on set as Deadpool and Wolverine.

Filming started back in the summer, and some images were revealed showing Hugh Jackman in Wolverine’s classic yellow outfit in a quarry with a huge 20th Century Fox logo on the set.  This led to Marvel officially releasing the pictures for the world to see.

Over the past few days, some images have been shared online featuring some photos featuring Wolverine fighting Sabretooth and some vehicles from other key moments in the MCU including the cupcake van from the “Moon Knight” Disney+ series.

However, Ryan Reynolds has taken to social media today to address the set leaks:

“Surprises are part of the magic of theatrical movies. It’s important for us to shoot the new ‘Deadpool’ film in real, natural environments, using practical effects as opposed to making the movie indoors and digitally. Telephoto lenses continue to spoil surprises and create a difficult situation for everyone

Here’s hoping some of the websites and social channels hold back showing images before they’re ready.  The film is built for audience joy — and our highest hope is to preserve as much of that magic as possible for the finished film and the big screen. Part of the reason people post spoilers is because they’re excited. I realize these aren’t real world issues and it’s firmly in the ‘good problems’ bucket. I love making this movie.”

Since the film is being filmed outdoors, the chances of leaked photos is drastically increased, especially on a film that has so much interest and major Hollywood actors.  While hopefully more set photos aren’t leaked ahead of time, no doubt, Marvel will need to increase security and make more efforts to stop this from happening in the future.

Due to the strikes, the film’s release has been pushed back from its May 2024 release and now “Deadpool 3” is arriving in theatres on July 26th, 2024.

While we wait for the third “Deadpool” film, you can watch the first two “Deadpool” films on Disney+ now.
