Marvel Studios is currently developing a brand new series for Disney+ called, “Agatha: Coven Of Chaos”, which will see Kathryn Hahn returning as the evil witch, Agatha Harkness, who was introduced in the Disney+ series, “WandaVision”.

The series will also star Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke,  Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, and Maria Dizzia will be starring in the new Disney+ series. Also returning for “Agatha: Coven of Chaos,” is Emma Caufield, who will be reprising her WandaVision role as Sarah Proctor.

Deadline has revealed that Patti LuPone has joined the cast; though no details have been revealed about what character she will be playing, but she is believed to be playing a witch.  Patti LuPone is a three-time Tony Award winner, in addition to winning two Olivier Awards and two Grammys for her work in musicals.  She has also recently starred in “American Horror Story: NYC” and Disney’s “Vampirina“.

In addition to her three Tony Awards, LuPone has won two Olivier Awards and two Grammy Awards for her accomplished musical theatre career. She will next be seen in Beau Is Afraid,

“Agatha: Coven of Chaos” is being written by Megan McDonnell, Peter Cameron, Laura Donney, and Cameron Squires. “WandaVision” creator and exec producer Jac Schaeffer is also returning as the showrunner on Disney+ original series.

Originally the show was announced during last year’s Disney+ Day event, and it was originally called “Agatha: House Of Harkness”, but at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed the show was renamed “Agatha: Coven Of Chaos”.

The new series is currently scheduled to arrive on Disney+ in late 2023/early 2024.
