New casting details on the upcoming Marvel Studios Disney+ series, “She-Hulk” have recently been revealed by the Illuminerdi.

Recently it was revealed that Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany was cast as She-Hulk/Jennifer Walter’s and that Mark Ruffalo would be making at least an appearance in one episode, in order to give Jennifer a blood transfusion to become She-Hulk.

They are stating that Marvel is currently casing for both of Jennifer Walter’s parents, who they want to be in their 60’s and will be supporting roles.

There will also be a strong supporting male co-worker required, who will be in his late ’20s-’30s, who is sweet, earnest and handsome.  They are looking from someone diverse, but are open to all ethnicities for this character.

Another role being cast is Jennifer’s best friend, who has been given the codename “Susie”, who needs to be in their 30’s and is black, indigenous, and other people of colour, though they are leaning for an Asian-America.   It’s been deemed essential that this actress has comedy chops.

And finally, they are looking for a female villain, also in her 30’s, that has been given the nickname “Lucy” and she is a glamorous social media influencer.  This character will appear in five to ten episodes.

Filming on the new series is due to begin in February 2021, with the show coming to Disney+ in 2022.
