20th Century Studios is currently developing a new reboot of the classic 1990s film, “White Men Can’t Jump”, which is about a pair of Black and white basketball hustlers joining forces to double their chances of winning money on the street courts and in a basketball tournament.

It’s been previously revealed that Jack Harlow and Sinqua Walls are going to be starring in the main roles, which were originally played by Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes in the original film.  Lance Reddick, Teyana Taylor, Laura Harrier, and Tamera ‘Tee’ Kissen are also starring in the new film.

Deadline is reporting that Myles Bullock (BMF) and Vince Staples (Lazor Wulf) have joined the film’s cast.

Myles Bullock will play Renzo, one of Kamal’s (Walls) best friends since high school. Sarcastic and a bit of a goofy guy, he is the tallest player on the court who hates being forced to get rebounds but will step up his game if it means supporting the team.  No details have been revealed on what role Vince Staples is playing.

The new film is being directed by music video director Calmatic, who has recently directed the upcoming “House Party” remake for New Line.

“Black-ish” creator Kenya Barris has written the script with Doug Hall and is producing via his Khalabo Ink Society banner. Blake Griffin, Ryan Khalil and Noah Weinstein are executive producing through their Mortal Media banner, alongside Doug Hall and E. Brian Dobbins.

It’s not currently known if this film will be released theatrically or released directly onto Disney’s streaming services, Hulu, Star+ and Disney+.
