Marvel’s “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” Production Halts Due To The Coronavirus
Filming on the new Disney+ series, Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has had to close down in Prague, due to issues with the Coronavirus. The government of Prague has closed down schools and placed restrictions on events and travelling.
This show has already had to change locations once before, as it was filming in Puerto Rico, but due to an earthquake it had to change. Though the majority of the series has already been filmed in Atlanta.
According to Deadline, It was only going to be a short filming shoot, which began on Friday and was only scheduled to last a week.
Production in Prague has been shut down and everyone has been recalled back to Atlanta.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is due to premiere on Disney + in August. It’s unlikely this change in filming should cause a delay in the series being released, but as the Coronavirus problem gets worse, filming on other movies and shows currently in production will continue to have similar issues.
