Today filming has begun on the first Disney+ Original Marvel series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in Atlanta, Georgia.

Malcolm Spellman is a producer and writer on the series and he shared some photos and said “Craaazy to see it come to life.  Marvel ain’t allowing photos from set right now but this is a huge day for a lot people including me.

The Disney+ original series “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier,” which pairs up two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most popular heroes—Sam Wilson aka The Falcon and Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier—in a series of action-filled adventures as they fight together against evil after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”

This series will see Anthony Mackie (The Falcon) and Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier) return to their roles, along with Daniel Brühl as the villain, Baron Zemo.

“The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” is set to debut on Disney+ in the fall of 2020.
