She can’t wait to go back to her old murderous ways?only to find that she is powerless. The only way forward for her is to embark on a perilous quest to get her powers back with the help of an unlikely friend or two.
The listing also confirmed some of the cast for the upcoming Disney+ series.
- Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness

We also know that the new Disney+ series will also star Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, and Maria Dizzia are going to star in the series. Also returning, having previously starred in “WandaVision”, are Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caufield, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman, and Kate Forbes.
Originally, the show was called “Agatha: House Of Harkness” and was revealed on social media as part of Disney+ Day in 2021, but it was announced to be rebranded in 2022 “Agatha: Coven Of Chaos” at the San Diego Comic-Con and currently, the series is going by the name of “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries”, but it’s also been suggested that the rebranding of the name is all part of a marketing plan for the show to show how chaotic things are.
The initial release window of Winter 2023/2024 was announced at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con. However, initial filming was only completed before the actor’s strike began, and reshoots are expected to be needed, since Marvel always plans for reshoots for every project. The copyright listing currently shows an approximate release date of September 19th 2024, but this release date could likely change nearer the time.
Officially, Disney hasn’t announced when “Agatha” will be released, but, it’s likely, we won’t get an official update until much nearer the actual release date, especially if they are planning on doing reshoots and with the ongoing actors strike, they can’t do any.
