This week, the Marvel home page on Disney+ has been given a big reshuffle, making it much easier to find what Marvel movie you might want to watch.

The big additions are that you can now find the Marvel Studios movies listed in their “Phase’s”, which are how Marvel groups together a number of movies from a certain period, generally all pushing towards one goal.   And by being placed in their “Phase’s”, it also means they are in release order.  The only thing missing is “The Incredible Hulk” and the Tom Holland “Spider-Man” movies due to pre-existing contracts.

Phase One was about building towards the creation of the Avengers team, Phase Two deals with the aftermath of the events of New York, while Phase three was about setting up Thanos wiping out half the universe’s population.

The upcoming Marvel Studios Disney+ series, WandaVision, is the start of Phase 4.

Another new addition to the Marvel Disney+ homepage was a “Timeline” order for the Marvel films, you if you want to watch them as the events unfold, this is a useful option.

Disney has also reorganised some of their classic Marvel content, labelling them as “Legacy”, which applies to anything, not within the MCU like the 20th Century Studios X-Men movies or older animated shows like Spider-Woman.

What do you think of this Marvel Disney+ homepage redesign?

I like it, but I think they should also make them collections, Phase 1, 2, 3, MCU tv show collection, Iron Mab collection, captain America collection, The Incredible Hulk collection, Fantastic Four collection and so on, also when additional collections get added, other ones shouldnt disappear
