Liam Neeson Wants To Appear In Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ Series
The “Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi” Disney+ special event series is set to begin filming later this year and will see Ewan McGregor returns in the iconic role of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The series begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where he faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
Hayden Christensen will be returning to play Darth Vader in the series, and another actor from the prequels is also up for a return to a galaxy far far away.
Actor Liam Neeson was recently promoting his new film, The Marksman” in a recent interview with Collider and he was asked if he would like to be on the new “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series such as in a flashback scene, where he said:
“Sure, I’d be up for that, yeah.”
Liam Neeson played Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi master, Qui-Gon Jinn in “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace”. He has returned to play the character in some episodes of “The Clone Wars” animated series, along with a cameo in “The Rise Of Skywalker”, plus some of the video games.
