The new Marvel Disney+ series, Hawkeye, has found its writer and executive producer.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jonathan Igla has been brought in for the project.

He has previously worked as a writer and a executive story editor on Mad Men. In addition to working on other titles including Pitch and Shut Eye.

Hawkeye is due to be released in Fall 2021 and will see Jeremy Renner return to the role, which he previously played in Avengers, Captain America: Civil War, Thor, Avengers: Age Of Ultron and Avengers: Endgame.  The story of the new series will focus on Clint Barton, trying to teach Kate Bishop, how to be a hero with no super powers.
