In December, Disney is releasing the second animated film from the “Diary Of A Wimpy Kid” franchise, “Rodrick Rules”.

The franchise tells the story of Greg Heffley, who is a scrawny but ambitious kid with an active imagination and big plans to be rich and famous – he just has to survive middle school first. To make matters worse, Greg’s lovable best friend Rowley seems to coast through life and succeed at everything without even trying!

Hollywood Records has released a track from the soundtrack, called “Can You Smell Us Now”, which is available on digital music platforms, including Spotify and Apple.

The score of the upcoming film has been composed by John Paesano, who has previously composed music for the first animated film and many well-known films and series, including “The Maze Runner”, “Daredevil”,  and “Cheaper by the Dozen“.

The first animated film, along with the live-action versions, are available to stream now on Disney+.

“Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” is coming to Disney+ on December 2nd 2022.
