During Disney’s Investor Day in December 2020, it was announced a brand new series featuring characters from the popular Pixar movie series, “Cars”.

The series follows Lightning McQueen and his best friend Mater on a cross-country road trip. These episodes are filled with lots of fun new characters, imaginative destinations as well as old friends checking in along the way.

During the Disney+ Day event in November 2021, the series was named “Cars On The Road”.


 


When Is “Cars On The Road” Coming To Disney+?

This new Pixar animated series is coming to Disney+ in Fall 2022.

Currently, no plot details have yet been revealed about this upcoming series, other than it being a fun-filled cross-country road trip.


What Time Will New Episodes Of “Cars On The Road” Be Released On Disney+

Disney+ updates on Wednesday’s and Friday’s at the following times:

  • Pacific Time: 00:00 AM / Midnight
  • Eastern Time: 03:00 AM
  • UK: 08:00 AM
  • Sydney, Australia – 19:00 PM

Sometimes episodes can arrive a few minutes later as the servers update. The Disney+ frontpage usually updates about an hour later.

Disney has announced that Larry the Cable Guy and Owen Wilson are returning to play the role of Mater and Lightning McQueen.



Will “Cars On The Road” be on Netflix?

This new Pixar series is being created exclusively for Disney+ and won’t be available on other streaming services like HBO Max, Netflix and Amazon.
