Disney takes time to honor those who have contributed to the company’s success by recognizing them as Disney Legends. Many of these legends have worked in the television and film divisions. One of those Disney Legends is Joe Ranft who worked in animation for both the Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar. Sadly, Ranft as made a Disney Legend posthumously after he was lost in a car accident in 2005. Still, his legacy continues through the animation work he provided for Disney.
