The upcoming Disney+ series, “Daredevil: Born Again” continues to go through some major changes, as according to a new report from industry insider Daniel RPK and also from Jeff Sneider have revealed that Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll are going to be returning to our screens as Foggy Nelson and Karen Page, whom they played in the Netflix “Daredevil” series.

Early last year, it was reported that Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll wouldn’t be returning. However, the series would see Charlie Cox return as Daredevil, Vincent D Onofrio as the Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal return as Frank Castle, aka “The Punisher.” 

It’s unclear how many episodes Foggy or Karen will be appearing in.   Marvel hasn’t confirmed that the actors will be returning to their roles, and neither actor has confirmed the news on their social media, so it still needs to be considered just a rumour until official confirmation.

Earlier this week, Marvel Studios released a new series, “Echo”, which confirmed that the former Netflix Marvel original series is now “canon” and part of the main Marvel Cinematic Universe.  The series was also added to the official timeline on Disney+. 

This marks a huge shift from Marvel’s policy over the past few years, where they were being looked upon as being part of an alternative multiverse, but now, it’s much clearer, which makes it much easier for casual audiences to understand.  Especially since the same actors are involved and there were references to the events of “Avengers” in the film.

“Daredevil: Born Again” was initially announced at the San Diego Comic-Con, and it was revealed that the show would consist of eighteen episodes and would be coming out in 2024. 

However, the show hit multiple production problems during its creation, with the actor’s and writers’ strikes delaying the film, which make a 2024 release very unlikely as during the shutdown, there was a massive change in the creative team behind the series, with the directors and writers removed from the project, who have been replaced by Dario Scardapane, who is going to be the showrunner/writer on the series, with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead directing the rest of the series.

Apparently, just under half the new series has already been shot, and Marvel is planning on using as much footage they’ve already shot, though there will now be a new pilot episode and two additional episodes being added after the creative changes.

Also starring in the new series will be Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Sandrine Holt, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Clark Johnson, Arty Froushan, and Zabryna Guevara.
