Dumbo On Disney+ Hasn’t Had The Crow Scene Removed
Earlier this year it was rumored that the animated classic movie, Dumbo, was going to be edited when it was added to the new streaming service, Disney+.
The scene with the Crows was rumored to be the removed, due to its leader being called “Jim Crow”, which was a reference to the racist laws that allowed segregation until 1965. This scene also wasn’t recreated in the recent live action remake by Tim Burton.
However, this week, Disney+ launched in the Netherlands and when checked by multiple members of our Disney Plus group, the Crow scene was still in the movie. It also was never removed from the U.K. streaming service, DisneyLife.
So this should hopefully end the myth that the crow scene would be removed from Dumbo on Disney+.
Other movies also hadn't had their scenes removed, can confirm that as I checked.
Remove? That is just stupid I be seen dumbo like 100 times and Never thought it was racist
So? I have nothing against any human, but erasing something just because it's questionable today is ridiculous. Hope is this any different than saying slavery didn't happen, or erasing it from history books. While you're at it, remove the smoking and drinking from old looney Toons and Disney movies. For a world that's trying to work its way toward tolerance, I swear this world is filled with intolerant cry babies. The squeaky wheel gets the grease
I am misanthrope, I have SO MUCH against humans! XD
Thank you, Whoopi Goldberg! :') I love you! :')
