Disney’s “Twisted Wonderland: The Animation” Cast Revealed
Disney has announced some new details on its upcoming anime series, “Twisted Wonderland: The Animation.” This adaptation of the hit mobile game will be coming to Disney+ around the world in October 2025.
The show has already been commissioned for three seasons: “Episode of Heartslabyul,” “Episode of Savanaclaw,” and “Episode of Octavinelle.”
This series is set in Twisted Wonderland, a world where magic exists. The Great Seven are great beings who have been passed down as legends in this world. They are the Queen of Hearts, King of the Beasts, Sea Witch, Desert Magician, Beautiful Queen, King of the Land of the Dead, and Thorn Witch. Night Raven College reigns supreme in Twisted Wonderland as a prestigious school for training magicians, and has produced many excellent magicians. Under the principal, there are seven dorms modelled after the Great Seven, each led by seven dorm leaders. One of the seven dorm leaders is Riddle Rosehearts, head of the Heartslabyul dorm, which is based on the strict spirit of the Queen of Hearts. Riddle, the “crimson tyrant,” strictly rules and tortures the students according to the “laws of the Queen of Hearts.” Why did Riddle become a “tyrant,” and what is he imprisoned in?
A first-look image from the upcoming series has been released of “The Dark Mirror”, which marks the beginning of the story Guided by a mirror, an unexpected student stumbles into Night Raven College.

Roger’s Take: I’ve little doubt that this new anime is going to be a huge hit globally on Disney+ because it’s bringing together some classic characters and themes from the Disney universe, mixed with the popularity of anime. I also like how the series has already been commissioned for three seasons, so they’ve got a more straightforward path to know where the story and plot is going, plus audiences can get into the show, knowing it isn’t going to be cancelled, which is one of the biggest problems with most Western shows right now.
