Disney Reveals Upcoming Originals Winter Slate For Hulu & Disney+
Disney has announced details on some of its upcoming original programming, which will be available this winter on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States. Many of these shows will also be available on Disney+ internationally.
This slate includes highly anticipated premieres like “Interior Chinatown,” Paradise,” Hularious stand-up specials, and a exclusive “Family Guy” holiday special.
There will also be plenty of other original shows such as “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” coming to Disney+ over the winter, plus there are lots of new shows coming from ABC and FOX dropping throughout the winter.
Here’s the rundown:

Interior Chinatown
Based on Charles Yu’s award-winning book of the same name, the show follows the story of Willis Wu, a background character trapped in a police procedural called “Black & White.” Relegated to the background, Willis goes through the motions of his on-screen job, waiting tables, dreaming about a world beyond Chinatown and aspiring to be the lead of his own story. When Willis inadvertently becomes a witness to a crime, he begins to unravel a criminal web in Chinatown while discovering his own family’s buried history and what it feels like to be in the spotlight.
All ten episodes will be released on November 19th, 2024, on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the U.S. and Disney+ Internationally.
“Jim Gaffigan: The Skinny”
Considered one of the most prolific comedians working today, seven-time GRAMMY(R) nominee Jim Gaffigan provides the skinny on everything from appetite suppressants to raising teenagers in Hulu’s very first original comedy special.
This standup special will be released on November 22nd 2024, on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the U.S. and Disney+ Internationally.
“Family Guy” Holiday Special
Peter must recover Lois’ Christmas brooch after gifting it away in a white elephant exchange. Stewie changes his attitude upon learning he’s on Santa’s “Naughty List.”
This new “Family Guy” holiday special will be released on November 25th 2024 on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the U.S. and Disney+ in select international markets.
“Nutcrackers”
Just as Mike (Ben Stiller) is on the heels of closing the biggest deal of his career, he’s pulled away from his bachelor life in the big city to a farm in rural Ohio in order to take care of his recently orphaned nephews. The four rowdy boys cause trouble every which way they turn. What Mike thinks is going to be a quick trip turns into an unexpected adventure. As the holidays approach, he discovers the big hearts behind the boys’ mischief, forcing him to decide between his career and being the uncle his nephews need him to be.
This new original film will be released on November 29th 2024 on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the U.S. and Disney+ in international markets.
“Paris Has Fallen”
When a terrorist group led by the villainous Jacob Pearce attacks a high- profile event, with the French Minister of Defense as their target, protection officer Vincent Taleb finds himself working with street-smart MI6 operative Zara Taylor to save the day. But when events take a dark turn, Vincent and Zara soon realize that the plan extends beyond just one politician. When they suspect that one of their colleagues in the security services is feeding information to Jacob, Vincent and Zara find themselves needing to rely only on each other. Increasingly isolated and with Jacob always one step ahead, can this unlikely pair stop Paris from falling to a man hell-bent on vengeance?
All six episodes will be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on December 6h 2024.
Light Shop
An adaptation of Kangfull’s hit webtoon of the same name, “Light Shop” follows six strangers, each grappling with a traumatic event from their past. As they go about their daily lives, they slowly come to realize that something is very wrong, and they just can’t figure out what. Desperate for answers and searching for a way back to normalcy, the strangers are drawn to a mysterious light shop at the end of a foreboding alleyway, which holds the key to their past, present and future. Full of mystery and intrigue, “Light Shop” promises to take viewers on an emotional adventure through its unique and heart-wrenching premise.
The first four episodes will be released on December 4th, 2024, followed by two episodes weekly on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the U.S. and Disney+ Internationally.
“The Bravest Knight”
Cedric, a pumpkin farmer turned knight, has embarked on many quests – from saving towns to defeating monsters. Now, he’s started a new chapter with his prince charming and their daughter Nia, who aspires to become a knight just like him. Cedric has battled trolls, witches and even dragons. But, his greatest challenge yet is teaching Nia how to navigate the path to knighthood while being true to oneself.
All six episodes will be released on December 13th 2024, on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
“Ilana Glazer: Human Magic”
Ilana Glazer’s unfiltered stand-up special dives into life’s down-and-dirty truths, from painfully awkward high school years to navigating parenthood as a stoner mom.
This new comedy special will be released on December 20th, 2024, on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the U.S. and Disney+ Internationally.
Carrie Underwood: Reflection
This special captures a one-of-a-kind production conceived by Underwood specifically for Las Vegas to celebrate highlights of her career. The show features her greatest hits from nearly 20 years as an award-winning international recording and touring artist, including 14 No. 1 hits and songs from eight of her studio albums.
Carrie’s special will be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in January 2025.
“Roy Wood Jr.: Lonely Flowers”
In this stand-up special, Roy Wood Jr. explores how lack of connection has sent society spiralling into a culture full of guns, protests, rude employees, self-checkout lanes and sex parties and why some of us would rather be alone than be connected.
This stand-up comedy special will be released on January 17th 2025, on Hulu /Hulu On Disney+ in the U.S and Disney+ Internationally.
“Paradise”
“Paradise” is set in a serene community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals. But this tranquillity explodes when a shocking murder occurs, and a high-stakes investigation unfolds.
The first three episodes will launch on January 28th 2025, with a new episode being released weekly on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the U.S. and Disney+ Internationally.
“Chris Distefano: It’s Just Unfortunate”
Chris Distefano is trying to be the best father he can be, but nowadays, words speak louder than actions, so he is acting with the right intentions… but not always the right moves.
This new stand-up comedy will premiere on February 21st, 2025 on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the U.S. and Disney+ in Select International markets.
“A Thousand Blows”
“A Thousand Blows,” an epic new series set in the perilous world of illegal boxing in 1880s Victorian London, stars BAFTA Award-winning actor Malachi Kirby (“Small Axe”) as Hezekiah Moscow. Originally from Jamaica, Hezekiah finds himself thrust into the vibrant and violent melting pot of post-industrial revolution London’s East End. Drawn into the criminal underbelly of the thriving boxing scene, he meets Mary Carr, played by Erin Doherty (“The Crown”), leader of The Forty Elephants the notorious all-female London gang as they battle for survival on the streets. As Hezekiah sharpens his new skills, he comes up against seasoned and dangerous boxer Sugar Goodson, played by Stephen Graham (“Boiling Point,” “Boardwalk Empire”), and the two are soon locked into an intense rivalry that spills out way beyond the ring.

“The Kardashians”
