Following the closure of cinemas around the globe due to the Coronavirus, Walt Disney Studios has announced its new release schedule, moving around some of their titles in 2020 and 2021.

Soul will currently keep its June 19th release date for now. While Artemis Fowl is now being moved to Disney+.

Mulan is now coming to cinemas on July 24th, which was the date of the Jungle Cruise, which has been pushed back a full year to July 30th 2021.

The delays will also now mean the untitled Indiana Jones film is being pushed back a year, from July 9th 2021 to July 29th 2022. 20th Century Studios is pushing back Ryan Reynolds Free Guy from July 3rd to December 11th 2020.

This clarifies that Mulan won’t be heading straight to Disney+, however these dates could still change again if the current situation doesn’t improve.  And obviously with these titles being delayed, it will also have further impact on their Disney+ release dates.

What do you think of these date changes?
