Disney has announced a brand new animated short series called ‘Marvel’s Avengers: Stunt Squad’, which is being created in collaboration with Hasbro. This new motion comics series of shorts will follow genius inventor Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man, as he creates a new nanotech launch pad that allows his elite team of Avengers, AKA his Stunt Squad, to fly through the air, show off their moves, and perform awesome heroic feats as they take their battles against Marvel’s meanest baddies to delightful new heights!

The series will also be tied in with the Avengers 60th Anniversary and will be paired with a merchandise campaign that will include an entire year-long lineup of new comics, collectables, toys, apparel, accessories, home décor, party items, stationery, video series, live experiences, and more.

The first episode of ‘Marvel’s Avengers: Stunt Squad’ premiered on Marvel’s family YouTube channel, Marvel HQ. Episodes will be regularly released through April 2023, and later this month, Hasbro will bring characters from the shorts to life in a new upcoming toy line.

Look out for all the 2-minute episodes in the series featuring:

  • Iron Man vs. M.O.D.O.K.
  • Captain America (Sam Wilson) vs. Red Skull
  • Hulk vs. Abomination
  • Black Panther vs. Ultron
  • Captain America (Steve Rogers) vs. Thanos

The motion comics were created by Marvel Comics publishing talent Paul Allor (writer), Arianna Florean (pencils & inks) and Andres Mossa (colors).

No Disney+ release has been confirmed for this new series, but it’s likely the series will also eventually be added, since many of the other short series like this have been in the past. ‘Marvel’s Avengers: Stunt Squad’ will offer a great way for younger audiences to connect with the Marvel characters, as we’ve seen with previous shows aimed at a younger audience like Marvel’s “Spidey And His Amazing Friends”.
