Next month, the Marvel Studios series, “Echo”, is going to arrive on Hulu and Disney+ around the world. The five-episode series spotlights Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) as she is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) criminal empire. When the journey brings her home, she must confront her own family and legacy.

Dave Porter has announced on social media that he has composed the music for the upcoming Marvel Spotlight series.

News! My first collaboration with @MarvelStudios will be the upcoming series Echo. First Marvel series under the new Marvel Spotlight banner & the first to have TV_MA rating, all 5 episodes will be released at once on Disney+ and Hulu January 10th!

Premiering on January 10th, 2024, “Echo” promises to be a captivating addition to the Marvel universe, and with Dave Porter at the helm of the score, we can undoubtedly expect a musical experience that enhances the storytelling to new heights.

Dave Porter’s exceptional talent has left an indelible mark on various acclaimed projects, and his contribution to “Echo” is undoubtedly something to look forward to. Dave has previously worked on the hit series, “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul”.

2024 will kick off a new chapter In Dave’s career — his first collaboration with Marvel Studios.  The first project to be released under the new Marvel Spotlight banner, it will also be the first Marvel series with a TV-MA rating.   Dave said:

“The Marvel team made me feel at home right away and have created a television series full of all of the hallmarks that inspire me — real stakes, emotions, consequences, and a world in which all of the characters are always learning and evolving,”

As with other Marvel Studios shows, expect to see the soundtrack released on digital platforms.
