Just ahead of the premiere of the third season of “Criminal Minds: Evolution”, it has been announced that the show has been renewed for a fourth season.

The show is a continuation of the hit series, “Criminal Minds”, which is about a group of FBI profilers delve deeper into the most evil criminal minds to pinpoint the situations that trigger off the violence in them and try to stop them before they can strike.

In the third season, which will consist of ten episodes, will feature a time jump and picks up six months after prisoners attack the notorious Sicarius Killer, Elias Voit, leading his restless followers on the dark web to begin wreaking havoc all over the country. In order to stop this nefarious group from killing more innocents, the BAU is forced to work alongside an increasingly unpredictable Voit who has his own agenda.

“Criminal Minds: Evolution” stars Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Zach Gilford, Ryan-James Hatanaka, Adam Rodriguez and Paget Brewster.

The series is produced by 20th Television and CBS Studios. Erica Messer (“Criminal Minds,” “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders”) serves as showrunner and executive producer, with Breen Frazier, Chris Barbour, Glenn Kershaw and Mark Gordon also executive producing.

The third season of “Criminal Minds” will return on May 8th 2025 and it will be followed by a new episode each week on Thursdays on Paramount+ in the United States.   The series will also be available to stream on Disney+ internationally in many countries including the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.

The previous seasons of “Criminal Minds” are available to stream now on Paramount+, and the first fifteen seasons of “Criminal Minds” are also available to stream on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.  Internationally, all previous seasons are available to stream on Disney+.
