“The Shards” Official Podcast Coming Soon

Just ahead of the premiere of the new drama series from Ryan Murphy, “The Shards”, Disney has announced that a new companion podcast to the FX show will also be released alongside new episodes on podcast platforms, along with Hulu and Disney+.

FX’s “The Shards” is a seductive drama series from executive producer Ryan Murphy, based on the acclaimed bestselling novel by Bret Easton Ellis. Set against the vivid backdrop of 1980s Los Angeles, the series follows a group of privileged high school seniors at an elite prep school as they navigate identity, sex, jealousy, obsession and the dangers lurking beneath the surface of American adolescence.

This new companion podcast is hosted by Evan Ross Katz, who will take you behind the scenes with the cast – Igby Rigney, Kaia Gerber, Homer Gere, Hayes Warner, Graham Campbell, Evan Rachel Wood, Wes Bentley, and Jordan Roth.

FX’s “The Shards” Official Podcast will premiere on August 5th 2026, on FX, Hulu, Hulu On Disney+, and Disney+ internationally, along with podcast platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, and Apple.  These new podcast episodes will be released on the same day as new episodes of “The Shards” will also be released on FX, Hulu, Hulu On Disney+, and Disney+ internationally.

This is the latest companion podcast to be released by Disney, following the launch of “Get Real”, and episodes based on shows like “Percy Jackson”, “The Beauty” and many more.
