Benedict Cumberbatch Hints At Returning As Doctor Strange
One of the biggest box office hits of last year was “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness”, which saw Benedict Cumberbatch return in the title role, which teased some further adventures in a post-credit scene that also introduced Charlize Theron as Clea, who suddenly appears and tells Doctor Strange that “he caused an incursion and we’re going to fix it.”
Since then, we’ve not had any confirmation of when Doctor Strange would be returning to our screens, either in a standalone film or as part of the upcoming “Avengers” films, which include “Avengers: Kang Dynasty” and “Avengers: Secret Wars”.
Recently, during an interview with Benedict Cumberbatch spoke at the JW3 Speaker Series and revealed that he would “love to do another one,” and that he would be returning to the role soon:
“There are some Marvel capers in the making next year.”
It’s unclear exactly what film Benedict is referring to, with regards to what movie he will be starring in that will begin filming next year, as it could be a cameo in a film like “Blade” or “Fantastic Four”, or the unannounced third “Doctor Strange” film.
