One of the most popular Marvel Studios series to be released on Disney+ is “Moon Knight”, which tells the story of Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life, he discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

The series stars Oscar Isaac in the title role, along with Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy.

“Moon Knight” was originally released on Disney+ in early 2022, but while Oscar Isaac teased on many occasions that there could be a second season, we’ve heard nothing officially.

Speculation over a second season revved up once again following the announcement of “Moon Knight” being released on Blu-Ray, (which is out today), and the cover stated “The Complete First Season”, opening the door that there could be more seasons.

Recently, ScreenRant interviewed the show’s costume designer, Meghan Kaserlik, who was asked about the potential for a second season, to which she replied:

No, people have been asking me and maybe that’s why, because of “The Complete First Season” of the Blu-Ray, but no, I’ve heard nothing. I’ve heard nothing about it.

Hopefully, we get to see more adventures with Moon Knight in the future, but unfortunately, right now, it doesn’t seem like the character is going to be hitting our screens for years to come.

You can watch the first season of “Moon Knight” on Disney+ now.
