Natasha Lyonne To Star In Marvel’s “The Fantastic Four”
With production set to begin shortly on the new Marvel Studios film, “The Fantastic Four”, some new casting news has been revealed about the upcoming adventure with the first family of Marvel.
Earlier this year, on Valentine’s Day, Disney announced that the upcoming movie is going to star Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (The Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (The Thing).
Since then, it has also been revealed that Julia Garner will be playing the role of Shalla-Bal, an alternative version of Silver Surfer, and Paul Walter Hauser has joined the cast in an undisclosed role. Recently it was also revealed that Ralph Ineson has joined the cast and will play the role of Galactus and that John Malkovich was also going to star in the film.
It’s also been revealed that Natasha Lyonne has joined the cast of “The Fantastic Four”, though it’s also unknown what character she will be playing.
Natasha Lyonne has previously starred in the Peacock series, “Poker Face” and the Netflix series, “Russian Doll”, along with movies like “American Pie” and “Ad Astra”.
No plot details have been announced for the film, though it’s expected that the movie will involve the multiverse to help set up the upcoming “Avengers: Secret Wars” movies and explain the difference between the previous versions of these characters that have appeared in other movies.
“WandaVision’s” Matt Shakman will direct the upcoming film, which has been written by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, Peter Cameron, and Ian Springer.
“The Fantastic Four” will be released in cinemas on July 25th, 2025, and is likely to arrive on Disney+ by the end of next year.
