It’s the start of a brand new week and time to take a look at some of the new original content heading to Hulu this week, which includes a brand new Marvel Studios series, plus a new original film.

With the launch of Hulu On Disney+ last month, many of these shows and films are also going to be available on Disney+ in the United States, however, due to licensing issues, some titles won’t be.

Here’s the rundown:

Self Reliance

When a middle-aged man (Jake Johnson) is invited into a limo by famous actor Andy Samberg, his dull life takes a thrilling turn. Johnson is offered a chance to win a million dollars in a dark web reality TV show, where assassins from all over the world attempt to kill him for 30 days. The catch? He can’t be killed if he’s not entirely alone, leading him to recruit an unlikely team to help him survive.

Echo

Marvel Studios presents “Echo,” spotlighting Maya Lopez as she is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s criminal empire. When the journey brings her home, she must confront her own family and legacy.

Safe Home

Fleeing her public relations job at a high-profile law firm, 28-year-old “Phoebe Rook” is looking for meaning in her life. When she secures a job at a free legal service that helps people escaping domestic violence, she thinks she might have found it. Tasked with securing the center’s vulnerable funding she quickly becomes entangled in the complicated legal and personal dramas of the lawyers and their clients. But you can’t escape your past forever. People discover there is an investigation into misconduct at the firm she used to work at, and the journalists start circling.

Synduality Noir – New Episode

When the deadly Blueschist poison rained down from the sky, mankind fled underground to escape the disaster known as the Tears of the New Moon. 100 years later, humanity reemerged onto the surface to begin a new era. Under the constant threat of Enders above ground, humans forged new settlements called Nests alongside AI humanoids called Magus. Fast forward to year 2242, Kanata dreams of becoming a Drifter. While out exploring some museum ruins with renowned Drifter, Tokio, he discovers a Magus named “Noir” who has lost all of her memories. “Noir” struggles with everyday tasks, but she excels in battle against the Enders. “Kanata” partners with “Noir” as he discovers exactly what it takes to be a Drifter.

Miranda’s Victim

In 1963 after Trish Weir is kidnapped and sexually assaulted, her assailant is caught and tried. But after he confesses without legal representation and is granted a retrial, it triggers a legal proceeding that forever changes the nation’s justice system.

Undead Unluck – New Episode

What happens when an unlucky girl meets an undead guy? Pure chaos! Tired of inadvertently killing people with her special ability Unluck, Fuko Izumo sets out to end it all.
