Disney has announced that the Neon movie, “Eileen” will be coming soon to Hulu in the United States.

Based on the book of the same name by bestselling author, Ottessa Moshfegh. Set during a bitter 1964 Massachusetts winter, young secretary Eileen (Thomasin McKenzie) becomes enchanted by Rebecca (Anne Hathaway), the glamorous new counselor at the prison where she works. Their budding friendship takes a twisted turn when Rebecca reveals a dark secret — throwing Eileen onto a sinister path.

“Eileen” is directed by William Oldroyd. The movie has been produced by Fifth Season, Likely Story’s Anthony Bregman, Stefanie Azpiazu and Peter Cron, alongside Goebel and Moshfegh’s Omniscient Productions and Oldroyd, with backing from Film4. Neon has the US distribution rights to the movie, while Universal’s Focus Pictures has the international rights to the movie.

The movie will be coming to Hulu on May 10th, 2024. However, due to licensing issues, it’s unclear if it will also be available on Hulu On Disney+, as most of Neon’s other movie releases on Hulu aren’t currently available via Hulu On Disney+.
