It’s the weekend, so it’s time to kick back and watch some fantastic Disney+ content, with Thanksgiving this week and Christmas fast approaching, here are a few suggestions on what to watch:

10)  Frozen

With Frozen 2 hitting theaters this week and if you either want to recapture the magic from the original after watching the new film or if you’re waiting to watch it at home, pop Frozen on and jump back into one of the biggest Disney animated movies of all time.

9) Bizaardvark

If you’re watching High School Musical: The Musical – The Series and wondering if the lead actress Olivia Rodrigo has appeared in anything before, check out this Disney Channel series that is all about a duo hitting it big on YouTube.

8)  The Sound Of Music

If you watched the latest episode of the Disney+ Original, Encore, which was based on the classic musical, The Sound Of Music, take some time out to rewatch the original, which is all about a girl from an Austrian abbey who becomes a governess in the home of a widowed naval captain with seven children, and brings a new love of life and music into the home.

7) Noelle

Christmas is just a month away and if you haven’t already done so, check out the brand new Disney+ Original movie, Noelle.  This movie sees Noelle, sets off on a mission to find and bring back her brother, after he gets cold feet when it’s his turn to take over as Santa.

6)  Pocahontas

Its Thanksgiving on Thursday, so take a trip back to 17th Century Virginia, where Pocahontas, daughter of a Native American tribe chief, falls in love with an English soldier as colonists invade the US.

5)  Flight of the Navigator

One of my personal favourite movies as a child, we see a 12-year-old David accidentally knocked out in the forest near his home, but when he awakens eight years have passed. His family is overjoyed to have him back, but is just as perplexed as he is that he hasn’t aged. When a NASA scientist discovers a UFO nearby, David gets the chance to unravel the mystery and recover the life he lost.

4) The Little Mermaid

Just before “The Wonderful World of Disney Presents The Little Mermaid Live!” hits Disney+ on Wednesday, take a trip under the sea and watch the original, which tells the story of an impetuous mermaid princess named Ariel who falls in love with the very human Prince Eric and puts everything on the line for the chance to be with him. Memorable songs and characters — including the villainous sea witch Ursula.

3) The Imagineering Story

One of the highlights from the Disney+ launch is the Imagineering Story, this is an amazing documentary series that tells the story of the Imagineering department at the Walt Disney Company, who are behind creating attractions and designing theme parks for Disney.  It’s a must watch for anyone who has visited a Disney theme park.

2) Thor

With Thor: Ragnarok coming soon to Disney+, take a step back to the original origin story for the God of Thunder, plus it’ll also set you up nicely for the Loki series coming to Disney+ in a couple of years.

1) Star Wars: The Mandalorian

The biggest series on Disney+, the Mandalorian is the first live action Star Wars series and follows a Bounty Hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.  The first three episodes are available now and if you like the Star Wars movies, you’ve got to check this series out, just for Baby Yoda alone.
